Situated in the beautiful scenery of the moraine amphitheatre south-east of the Ivrea plain, the village of Settimo Rottaro is midway between the Canavese area and the province of Biella.
It's name, "Settimo" (meaning "the seventh"), dates back to ancient origins, indicating that it was burnt down and rebuilt seven times; also it is 7 roman miles far from the Eporedia town (now Ivrea).

Exit at Scarmagno, then follow SP 56 direction "Lago di Viverone"; motorway link A4/A5 Ivrea - Santhià. Exit at Albiano d'Ivrea, then follow signs to Caravino (Masino), then to Settimo Rottaro
